Allerton United Reformed Church
Meeting Faith and Community Together
Welcome to Allerton URC
We are a welcoming and friendly church serving Allerton and our surrounding community.
Why not come along and see what we are about?
We are pleased to welcome everyone to our site. We are currently experiencing around 250 on-line visitors a week, some of whom are regulars but we were also pleased to see around 180 new people last week. You are all equally welcome.
Do take a look around at what we are up to.
Look at our What's On page for details.
There's always lots going on and something for everyone. Look at our What's On or Regular Activities pages for information about our regular, (weekly or monthly) and forthcoming, events.
Our Open Doors / World's Biggest coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support happened last week. It was our usual coffee morning, this time with the addition of a cake stall, books. nearly-new clothing and a raffle.
Next up is our Quiz Night on Saturday, 19th October at 7.30 pm. See the What's On page for details.
Now announced is our RADS (dramatic society's) next production, scheduled for November 14th to 17th, Thursday to Sunday. Called "Subject to Contract", it is by local playwright Nick Broadhead. See more details on the Dramatics page.
And, at the end of November. on Saturday 30th, we have our annual Christmas Fayre at 11.00 am.
To introduce our neighbours to all that our church has to offer, we have distributed welcome leaflets around the area. Do take a look at it if you have received one. If not, you may pop in to church and pick one up for yourself - just ask. Or, if you are outside our area, you may view a pop-out version of it on our Church News page. Scroll down to February and you may download and print one off for yourself. We shall be pleased to see you at any of our services or community events.
If you like, you may read an on-line copy of our monthly church magazine, Messenger, in colour, by clicking here.
We are easy to find and if you need any assistance with special needs then please get in touch before your visit.
